Lost Motivation

Hello Jordan,

I am seriously in a crisis situation, where I seem to have lost my confidence and directions in life. I had a really bad accident and ever since I've been unable to get back into the swing of life and I'm not motivated like I use to be. I'm in a karmic relationship that has been taking it's toll on me and my Son has distanced himself from me because his girlfriend is jealous of me and they have two boys who she has threatened to keep from getting to know me. All my life I've worked very hard gave my only child everything. I've always been the bread winner and now I feel like I'm losing it all. Why? What is the message in all this. I honestly don't feel sorry for myself just would really appreciate some knowledge as to why and where to from here?

Many thanks and appreciation,
Yvette

Hello Sangita,

Relationships, especially marriages, are not always easy. In fact, our closest relationships often offer us valuable lessons to learn and evolve. Have you visited the website and read through the articles which are available to everyone? These articles were written in order to help anyone and everyone in a time of need.

I often recommend for others who write in with similar frustrations to consider looking within and at their own soul for the answer, before looking around at all the problems which exist.  Unfortunately, most of us go through difficult times. Our journeys are all different, but no one person is fully evolved enough not to experience bumps in their life journey. The question is how do we handle the bumps when we are faced with them. Spirituality is about looking within and learning how to evolve your own soul, and as one evolves and learns how to harness the light, answers to problems that once seemed frustrating and unfix-able become smaller.

Instead of being fed up, maybe ask yourself what can you do to make the situation improve. Is there any aspect of yourself and your role in the relationship that can be improved? The one person you're completely in control of is you. And that goes for every single person.

The Body and Soul Relationship - Path Towards Fighting Drug Addiction

Dear Jordan,

Someone I love is addicted to opiates. He has lost his wife, but not the rest of his life yet. He has a sincere desire to be drug free and has attempted withdrawal on many occasions. He and others keep telling me I don't know how strong such drugs are on the human body.

My question is: Does an opiate have more power over the human body (brain) than the soul? If the soul can overcome the human death experience I don't see why it can't overcome the human opiate addiction experience. Opiates damage the brain. Is there a point where the human body (brain) is so damaged the soul cannot overcome the damage?

I have asked a version of this question to three other "spiritually connected" people and all three told me to heal myself. I am amazed at how many "drama" situations have resolved in my life this past year and I thank you for your input in helping me heal myself through your readings. If your answer is to heal myself I don't know what else there is about me to heal. I am very peaceful and accepting of everything happening right now, I am nonresistant.

Thank you for all you do in the world,

Good morning Diane,

In this existence, the human body “drives” the soul. If the body is experiencing dysfunction, naturally it will affect the relationship and communication with the soul. But the soul is not damaged by this dysfunction. The human vehicle provides an opportunity to evolve through healing. In the case of your friend, healing begins with overcoming his drug addiction.

The answer is not to “heal yourself,” quite frankly I am surprised one would give that advice. In the case of your own evolution, the universe put in your path a soul that may need your long-term help. Charity is the most powerful energy of the universe and personal evolution.

I have relationships with national Interventionists and drug addiction counselors with rehab centers in NYC and CA. These are very private facilities, and insurance is routinely accepted. If this is a path you would like to explore, I would be happy to have someone contact you.

Please let me know if that is a path you wish to consider.

Love and Light,
